Terms of Use
1. Use of this course
**At this time, registrations are limited to include only health professionals or students in Australia.
This course is only intended for university graduated health practitioners as regulated by the governing agency of your particular profession and area. For example registered osteopaths in Australia regulated by the Osteopathic Board of Australia. By proceeding with this course you are acknowledging that you meet a standard of professional practice at the equivalent of this level.
2. Acknowledgement of risk
As a new type of intervention, there is no data suggesting the degree of risk associated with the type of rehabilitation provided in this course. Due to the loads and forces recommended in this course it is reasonable to assume that significant injury is possible to both patient and practitioner. Things as severe as fracture, stroke and high grade soft tissue injury or even death maybe be possible in certain circumstances. Great care has been placed in developing this course content to make safety a critical priority of practice. By proceeding you acknowledge that such risks as those described here are possible.
By proceeding with this course you are agreeing that Advanced Physical Therapy Training or its staff take no responsibility for any suspected injury to you or a person being treated which is sustained while practicing any intervention which is discussed within the course content. As a qualified health practitioner you are trained to recognize how to treat your patients in a way that minimizes potential risks and you agree that it is your responsibility for the safety of you and your patients while practicing rehabilitation interventions learned in this course. You also agree that you have read the 'Red Flags and Contraindications' coursework prior to attempting any of the physical intervention in this course with a patient.
